Calculator inputs

All calculations happen in your browser. We don't store the salaries, tax codes or other figures you enter, and we don't link them to you.

AI calculator finder

The optional calculator finder sends the description you submit to our AI service to recommend a calculator. This is different from the calculator inputs above. Do not include your name, address, National Insurance number, bank details or other identifying information in a message.

Google advertising and third-party cookies

We use Google AdSense. Google and other advertising providers may collect and use information when ads are served, including your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, and cookie or advertising identifiers. Third parties may place and read cookies in your browser or use web beacons and similar technologies to collect information as a result of advertising on this website.

Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve personalised ads based on visits to this website and other websites. Where required, consent must be obtained before using cookies or personal data for these purposes. Non-personalised ads can still use cookies for purposes such as frequency capping, reporting and fraud prevention; they are not automatically exempt from consent requirements.

Advertising choices

For visitors in the UK, European Economic Area and Switzerland, Google requires a certified consent service for personalised advertising. When Google's consent message is available, you can consent, decline or manage purposes and advertising partners there. Use Advertising cookie choices in our footer to reopen the message and change your choice. If the message is unavailable, that does not mean you have consented.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and calculator use, but our Google Analytics and optional Google Tag Manager scripts remain blocked unless Google's consent service reports an explicit analytics consent. If that signal is missing, unknown or declined, these scripts do not start. Analytics events can include the action, region or tax year selected, never the salary or tax amounts you enter. Google Analytics may process device information, page addresses and cookie identifiers; it is not described here as anonymous.

Contact emails

If you email us, we use your message to respond to your enquiry. Avoid sending sensitive tax documents. You can contact us to request deletion of your correspondence.

Your rights
